  At present, the popular leather products on the market are genuine leather and artificial leather. Synthetic leather and artificial leather are made of textile cloth base or non-woven fabric base, respectively, coated with polyurethane and made of special foam treatment. The   handsfeel of artificial leather is similar to genuine leather, but breathability, wear resistance, cold resistance are not as good as genuine leather. How to distinguish between genuine and artificial leather?

  The surface of the genuine leather has its own special natural pattern, which surface is natural shiny. When pressing the leather surface by hand, there are no wrinkles and cracks appear easily. The pattern of artificial leather on its surface is unnatural, bright.

  Incision:

  The incisions of the genuine leather are the same color, and the fibers are clearly visible and fine. The incision of artificial leather does not have a natural leather fiber feeling, or the fibers and resin at the bottom can be seen. 

  Inner:

  The back side of the genuine leather has a pronounced fibrous bundle that is evenly plush. The front and back of some of the artificial leather in the artificial leather are the same, the luster of inner and outside is good, and it is also quite smooth; some of the artificial leather front and back are not the same,but some are similar to natural leather. The fur in artificial leather are also similar to the natural fur in the genuine leather, which requires careful observation of the difference between genuine and artificial leather.
