  In recent years, no matter how the fashion circle is changed, all kinds of leather clothing has been in an undefeated position.

  There are many kinds of leather fabrics on the fabric market, which we generally divide into three categories: natural leather (genuine leather), recycled leather, and PU/PVC.

  Natural leather

  Natural leather, also known as genuine leather, which is a leather material made of animal skin after fur removal, and then processed by tanning and other processing;

Its surface shape is irregular, thickness and unevenness, soft and breathable, wear-resistant, high strength. In the market we common natural leather fabrics are: cow leather, sheep leather, pig leather.

  Cowhide

  The leather surface of the cowhide fabric is thinner, firm grain, high strength. It can be manufactured into clothes and shoes, and it is also an ideal material for bags, belts and so on

  Cowhide is divided into cow skin and buffalo skin

  The pores on the surface of the cow leather fabric are round and clearly grained, while the pores of the buffalo leather fabric are thicker than the cow leather, and the leather texture is looser, which is not as delicate and plump as the cow leather.

  Sheepskin

  The fabric of sheepskin is small, the pores are regularly arranged, thin surface, flexible handsfeel. It is often used to manufactured some leather boots, leather coats, etc.  

  Sheep leather is also divided into sheepskin and goatskin

  The pores of sheepskin fabric are small and round, evenly distributed, soft in texture, large ductility, soft and delicate in the handsfeel, and clear and beautiful in leather lines.

  The pores of the goat leather fabric are also flat and round, but its grain surface is relatively rough, so the smoothness and handsfeel are not as good as sheepskin.

  In addition, natural leather is divided into Full Grain Leather and Split Leather

  The full grain leather is the first layer of skin on animals, which is made of high-grade leather, which is called genuine leather.The split leather is a leather which made of a series of processing after the scraps of the full grain leather are broken, also known as composite leather, which is a kind of artificial fiber leather.

  The full grain leather has the characteristics of good flexibility, breathability, wear resistance and plasticity, and high gloss, strong leather texture, so the clothing it makes is expensive!

  The appearance and gloss of the split leather is similar to that of the full grain leather, but the breathability and wear resistance are far less than that of the full grain leather, and the surface is easy to fall off and burst, and the price is relatively cheap.
